Our client is looking for a D365 F&O SCM Architect to join their team ASAP. This role ahs the chance to design a F&O Implementation from Scratch. There are not to many active opportunities on the market like this one!
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SCM Solution Architect across D365 F&O modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Lead solution design workshops covering Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Production Control, and Master Planning.
- Define and document end-to-end supply chain processes, integrations, and data flows.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable D365 configurations and customizations.
- Provide oversight during build, testing, and deployment phases to ensure solution quality and adherence to architecture standards.
- Advise client stakeholders on process optimization, change management, and roadmap strategy for ongoing improvement.
- Support integration design with third-party systems (e.g., MES, WMS, PLM, Transportation).
- Mentor functional consultants and ensure alignment across workstreams (Finance, Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics).
Required Experience & Skills
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O implementations.
- 3+ full lifecycle implementations of D365 F&O as a Solution or Lead Functional Architect in SCM.
- Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following: Warehouse Management, Production Control, Master Planning, or Procurement & Sourcing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and/or distribution industry processes.
- Ability to lead design sessions and articulate solutions to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support.
