We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Public Sector Recruiter who can step into a fast-moving portfolio, manage end-to-end recruitment cycles, and ensure high-quality candidate delivery for our government clients.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3–7 years of recruiting experience (agency or in-house).
- Minimum 1-2 years recruiting for public-sector or government roles in Canada.
- Strong understanding of public sector recruitment processes.
- Experience with IT and technical roles.
- Proven success in high-volume or fast-cycle environments.
- Strong writing skills, particularly for candidate summaries and submission packages.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Role Summary
The Public Sector Recruiter will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for public-sector clients across Canada, with a focus on IT, PMO, digital, and technology consulting roles.
This is a high-impact position ideal for a recruiter who:
- Thrives in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Understands vendor-of-record (VOR), RFS/RFQ proposal processes
- Is comfortable handling multiple active roles at once
- Has strong experience with public-sector job classifications & compliance
- Can hit the ground running with minimal supervision
You will work closely with the Division Director to support delivery on high-volume requisitions and key government accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates for contract and permanent public-sector IT roles.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake to offer.
- Prepare candidates for interviews and client submissions, ensuring alignment with government-specific requirements.
- Build and maintain pipelines for in-demand public-sector skills (BA, PM, QA, Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Data, ERP, etc.).
Public Sector & VOR Delivery
- Understand and navigate government VOR, RFS, RFQ, and RFP processes.
- Prepare submission packages, candidate profiles, compliance documentation, and rate tables.
- Ensure all submissions meet client guidelines, formatting, and deadlines.
Candidate Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with consultants and contractors.
- Maintain regular communication with active and prospective candidates.
- Track contract end-dates, extensions, and redeployment opportunities.
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate activity logs in the ATS.
- Track metrics: submittals, interviews, placements, extensions.
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment processes and delivery efficiency.
