Description
Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a contract based BSA to work on their Enterprise corporate solutions focused on Workday HCM platform. The BSA will also assist with Power BI, Power Platform and emerging enterprise technologies.
Location: Hybrid 2d – 3d/week Toronto
Duration: 6 months w/ option to convert to fulltime/permanent
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs for Workday and other enterprise platforms.
- Configure Workday, develop integrations, and support cross-platform solutions leveraging Power Platform and related tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during validation and UAT, providing technical guidance and ensuring solutions meet user needs.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and consultants to troubleshoot issues, recommend enhancements, and optimize system performance.
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose automation or workflow improvements across HR and enterprise functions.
- Create technical documentation, configuration notes, and user training materials.
- Lead or support IT and business initiatives, managing timelines, stakeholder communication, and delivery.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience supporting or implementing ERP systems; Workday experience highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills with hands-on experience in Power BI and Power Platform.
- Solid understanding of ERP principles, SDLC, data security practices, and integration design (Workday and non-Workday).
- Knowledge of HR operations, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to manage initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and departments.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have:
- Workday Pro or Workday Service Partner certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Apps, Power Automate.
- Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
