About the Role
We are seeking an Inventory & Lifecycle Management Officer to support a major network modernization initiative for a large national organization. This role works closely with technical teams to ensure all IT and network assets are properly tracked, stored, deployed, and retired throughout their lifecycle.
This is a hands-on, operations-focused role supporting day-to-day inventory management and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, catalog, label, and track incoming IT and network hardware.
- Coordinate dispatching and delivery of equipment to installation sites.
- Support asset lifecycle management including receiving, updates, audits, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset records within asset management tools.
- Perform quarterly physical inventory audits and generate reports.
- Investigate discrepancies and document issues, providing recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and finance teams to ensure compliance with asset policies.
- Assist in improving inventory processes and optimizing physical storage spaces.
- Support planning and coordination of asset deployment for active projects.
Requirements
- Experience with IT inventory, hardware asset management, or supply-chain/logistics.
- Comfort working on-site and handling physical equipment.
- Experience with asset tracking tools or CMDB systems (ServiceNow, SAP, etc.).
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
