Our client in the public sector is seeking a contract based Middleware Architect to lead the on-prem RSA Authentication Manager configuration and installation.The engagement includes collaboration with the Identity team and testing MFA integration with on-premises network, compute, and physical security hardware.

Duration: initial term till Mar 2026, with option to extend

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure RSA Authentication Manager on an on-premises server at the alternate site.
  • Conduct pre-migration assessments of existing configurations, integration points, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Perform full backup, export, and restoration of RSA Authentication Manager database and configuration.
  • Validate connectivity and integration with Active Directory/LDAP and identity sources.
  • Test and validate MFA workflows across network, compute, and physical security hardware.
  • Ensure role mapping, token assignments, and authentication behaviours function as expected.
  • Document architecture, configuration, test results, and remediation steps.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and operational handover to Identity and Security teams.

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of RSA Authentication Manager deployment, configuration, and migration.
  • Experience defining MFA requirements and refining authentication use cases.
  • Background collaborating with business teams and stakeholders on authentication strategies.
  • Deep understanding of authentication standards and IAM technologies (SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC).
  • Strong hands-on experience with identity & access management best practices.
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and identity source integrations.
  • Ability to work independently within established governance frameworks.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-facing skills.
