About the Role

We are seeking an experienced System Performance & Automation Engineer with strong expertise in performance analysis, automation scripting, reporting, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a small but highly collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Shift Left initiatives and support desktop release management projects.
  • Perform system performance testing, engineering, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Develop and execute automation scripts (AutoIt, Python, or other languages) for testing, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Conduct performance data analysis and create detailed, actionable reports.
  • Manage performance engineering (PE) requirement gathering and maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and manage Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions using various data sources.
  • Create, optimize, and run SQL queries, including joins and performance tuning.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, and Windows performance investigations.
  • Work in an Agile environment, participating actively in daily/weekly SCRUM meetings.
  • Provide team leadership, managing sprint deliverables and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in system performance testing and analysis.
  • Strong scripting skills in AutoIt, Python, or similar scripting languages (5+ years).
  • Solid experience with reporting tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI, Grafana (3+ years).
  • Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins and query optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows performance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
  • Experience with application upgrades, patching, and release processes.
  • Strong understanding of Shift Left practices, system engineering, and desktop release management.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, small-team environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Agile/Scrum experience with active participation in ceremonies.
  • Leadership experience managing team deliverables and sprints.
