Software Architect

Akkodis is currently searching for a Software/Application Architect for our public sector client within Canada.

Job Description:

• Work as a Software/Application Architect supporting the development needs and growth of a global online services system
• Develop application architectures using the WebSphere MQ framework.
• Develop interface architectures integrated into the Siebel CRM application using the WebSphere MQ framework.
• Research and develop options for the implementation of requirements using the WebSphere MQ development framework.
• Develop standards and procedures related to the implementation of a WebSphere MQ appliance.
• Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions to meet business problems.
• Ensure the integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
• Remote role

Mandatory Experience Required/Must Haves:

• GOC Secret security clearance.
• More than 10 years working as a Software/Application Architect.
• More than 3 years architecting WebSphere MQ solutions.
• Experience architecting Siebel CRM based application solutions.

Additional Requirements/Nice to Haves:

• Developing applications which use Microsoft SQL Server.
