Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enhancements within Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Write and maintain Gosu code and configure Guidewire business rules, entities, PCFs, and workflows.
  • Integrate Guidewire with external systems using web services (REST/SOAP), messaging, and plugins.
  • Customize screens, UI components, product models, and business logic as required.
  • Work with architects, BAs, and QA teams to ensure accurate requirements and high-quality delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Support system testing, UAT, and production deployment.
  • Follow development best practices, Agile methodologies, and Guidewire standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Guidewire Claimcenter Developer (Claimcenter).
  • Strong proficiency in Gosu and working knowledge of Java/J2EE.
  • Experience with Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
  • Experience with Guidewire Configuration and Integration (PCF, Data Model, Rules, Plugins).
  • Understanding of SOAP/REST web services, API development, and messaging.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solid communication abilities.
