We’re partnering with a stealth-stage digital health company building the future of preventive and longevity medicine. Backed by leading healthcare investors and advisors, the company is developing a mobile-first platform that combines AI, behavioural data, and clinical insights to help people proactively extend their healthspan.

As Founding CTO, you’ll own the technical vision, architecture, and execution of the product and product roadmap from 0→1 and beyond – building a world-class engineering culture and scalable foundation for growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and deliver the first version of an AI-driven preventative health platform, spanning mobile, web, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Partner with the CEO and clinical advisors to translate scientific and behavioural research into scalable, user-friendly product features.
  • Build and lead a small, high-impact engineering team, setting standards for velocity, reliability, and security.
  • Design for interoperability with EHR/FHIR data and health APIs while maintaining best-in-class privacy and compliance practices (HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR).
  • Drive experimentation with AI and LLM-powered features for personalization, symptom triage, and data visualization.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including leadership in startup or early-stage environments.
  • Proven record building healthtech, wellness, or AI-enabled products from the ground up.
  • Hands-on fluency across React / React Native, Node.js or NestJS, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS or GCP.
  • Experience designing secure, compliant, and scalable architectures (microservices, containerization, event-driven systems).
  • Passion for using technology to transform health outcomes and empower individuals.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience leading teams through regulatory milestones (SaMD, HIPAA, or IEC 62304).
  • Exposure to wearable integrations, personalized health recommendations, or behavioural AI.
  • Background in medical devices, digital health, or data-driven consumer wellness.
