Role Summary
You deliver fractional HR and Health and Safety services to multiple clients across industries. You advise on compliance, policy, and people practices. You work with leaders who need senior HR support without a full-time hire.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide fractional HR advisory services to assigned clients
• Advise on Ontario ESA, Alberta employment standards, and BC employment standards
• Support Health and Safety programs, policies, and compliance
• Develop and update HR policies, handbooks, and procedures
• Guide employee relations matters, performance management, and terminations
• Advise on workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and workforce planning
• Align client practices with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to owners and senior leaders
• Manage multiple clients and priorities at the same time
Health and Safety Scope
• Advise on H&S legislation and employer obligations
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
• Assist with safety programs, training requirements, and documentation
• Coordinate with external H&S partners when required
Required Experience
• HR consulting or senior HR experience
• Hands-on Health and Safety experience
• Strong working knowledge of Ontario ESA
• Working knowledge of Alberta and BC employment standards
• Experience supporting clients across different industries
• Experience working in a fractional, consulting, or multi-client model
Skills and Competencies
• Practical knowledge of Canadian employment law

• Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities

• High attention to detail and follow-through
*CHRP Designation is a plus
