We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Product Designer.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design and development of complex components and assemblies from concept through production.
  • Create 3D models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation using CATIA or NX.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program management.
  • Perform design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, DFMEA activities, and ensure adherence to customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Support prototype builds, design validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Resolve design challenges through strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, Mechanical Designer, or similar engineering design role.
  • Proficiency with CATIA or Siemens NX for 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM/DFA, and mechanical design principles.
  • Experience designing components for manufacturing environments (e.g., plastics, machining, stamping, casting, automotive, or industrial).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience in automotive, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing.
  • Hands-on exposure to prototype development or testing.
  • Knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Enovia).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present design concepts and solutions.
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Location: Hamilton, Ontario

Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000
