We’re excited to share an opportunity for an exsisting vacancy Industrial Designer to join an established retail display manufacturer based in Oakville, Ontario! This position is ideal for a creative and technically skilled designer who thrives on developing innovative, visually engaging retail environments using sheet metal, wood, and mixed materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptual design and development of custom retail display systems, from sketch to final production-ready models.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and fabrication teams to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions.
  • Create high-quality 3D models, renderings, and fabrication drawings using industry-standard CAD software.
  • Balance aesthetic appeal with practical design for cost, durability, and manufacturability—particularly in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Review prototypes, conduct design revisions, and support production teams through the build and installation phases.
  • Stay ahead of retail design trends, materials innovations, and manufacturing technologies to enhance product offerings.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Design or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing retail displays, fixtures, or kiosks with a strong emphasis on sheet metal design.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D design tools; strong visualization and rendering skills.
  • In-depth understanding of metal fabrication processes
  • Excellent sense of design, form, and functionality with a passion for brand expression through physical environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Location: Oakville, Ontario

Compensation: $65,000 – $70,000 + Benefits, Bonus
