The Corporate Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting product demand, collaborating with various departments especially Sales and Marketing, analyzing data, and continuously improving processes to meet customer demands effectively.

THE ROLE:

  • Demand Forecasting:

Collaborate with sales, customers, marketing, commercial finance and production teams to gather data and insights for accurate demand forecasting;

Utilize forecasting tools and models to analyze historical data, market trends, and customer behavior to predict future demand;

Represent customer forecasts in the SIOP process.

  • Sales Analysis:

Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying patterns and trends that impact demand;

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and market dynamics.

  • Collaboration:

Foster strong cross-functional relationships with sales, marketing, commercial finance and supply planning teams, and to ensure seamless communication and alignment of goals;

Act as a liaison between departments to address issues and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

Generate regular reports on forecast accuracy and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

PROFILE:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Supply Chain or other related field;
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g. data analysis, trend forecasting);
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Access;
  • Bilingual French/English (communications through Canada and US);
  • Proven knowledge of statistics and forecasting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (relationship management);
  • Presentation skills: Ability to summarize and present succinctly.
