Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale IT initiatives for a global retail brand. This role requires strong business-facing communication skills, deep experience in retail or CPG environments, and proven success delivering large-scale Agile programs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall professional experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise IT project / program management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Retail or CPG organizations
  • Hands-on experience leading large Agile implementations
  • Strong business-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives (preferred)
  • Experience managing global delivery teams (strongly preferred)
  • Agile certifications (strongly preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Leadership

  • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams by setting goals, objectives, and priorities
  • Conduct regular team status meetings to review progress, address risks, and resolve issues
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with project sponsors, business leads, vendors, and technical teams
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all project-related communications
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate needs and recommend solutions
  • Manage vendor relationships, including prioritization, negotiation, issue resolution, and performance tracking
  • Assess IT project management needs and deliver recommendations to IT stakeholders
  • Identify project risks and proactively recommend and implement mitigation strategies

Planning, Scope, Schedule & Budget Management

  • Facilitate definition of project scope and develop detailed project plans
  • Independently track milestones and critical dates to identify schedule risks
  • Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization
  • Analyze variances, gather project metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and executive leadership
