Thinkof is a growing technology and IT services company focused on innovation cybersecurity and digital transformation. We are expanding and defending our brand in Canada and are seeking an experienced trademark attorney to lead our Canadian trademark strategy.
Role Description
We are seeking an experienced trademark attorney to represent and advise Thinkof in Canadian trademark matters including prosecution opposition and enforcement before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office. This role is focused exclusively on Canadian trademark filings.
Key Responsibilities
Represent Thinkof directly before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office
Prepare file and manage Canadian trademark applications
Handle oppositions enforcement and related Canadian proceedings
Develop and execute Canada specific brand protection strategy
Advise on class coverage risk assessment and portfolio structure
Coordinate with US EU and UK counsel on global trademark alignment
Collaborate directly with company leadership on long term IP strategy
Qualifications
Juris Doctor JD or Bachelor of Laws LLB from an accredited law school
Admitted attorney in good standing with a Canadian provincial law society
Strong experience in Canadian trademark prosecution opposition and enforcement
Experience advising technology or consumer brands preferred
Excellent analytical research and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Fluent professional English required
