Description

Our client is a growing consumer services and consumer products organization based in the Greater Toronto Area and is seeking a hands-on President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operations, performance execution, and marketing alignment as the business continues to scale.

This President role is suited to a remote senior operator who can drive operational consistency, improve profitability, and ensure that marketing initiatives translate into measurable results across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Own day-to-day operations across the organization
  • Establish and enforce operating standards, SOPs, and service excellence
  • Implement clear KPIs, reporting cadence, and performance accountability
  • Drive efficiency across staffing, scheduling, inventory, and vendor management

Marketing & Growth Execution

  • Partner closely with marketing leadership and external agencies to ensure campaigns are operationally executable
  • Translate marketing initiatives into clear, actionable playbooks for frontline teams
  • Ensure alignment between marketing spend, lead generation, customer acquisition, and operational execution
  • Track and optimize marketing ROI through operational and sales metrics

Financial & Performance Management

  • Drive profitability through cost control, productivity improvements, and margin expansion
  • Partner with finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • Use data and analytics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities

People & Leadership

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing operations teams
  • Establish clear leadership structure, communication rhythm, and accountability
  • Foster a culture of execution, discipline, and continuous improvement

Systems, Process & Scalability

  • Optimize systems, tools, and processes to support growth
  • Build scalable operating frameworks to support expansion initiatives
  • Ensure operational readiness for new products, services, and marketing programs

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior operations leadership experience
  • Strong background in multi-site or distributed operating environments, retail, health, CPG
  • Experience working closely with marketing teams and executing growth initiatives
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; comfortable managing KPIs and P&Ls
  • Based in or willing to commute within the Greater Toronto Area
