Job Title: Workday HCM Solution Architect
Location: Remote, US or Canada

Position Summary
The Workday HCM Solution Architect will lead the Workday HCM workstream, serving as a functional subject matter expert (SME) across multiple modules, including Payroll, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance Management, LMS, Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking. This role partners with clients to design, configure, test, and deliver effective HCM solutions that meet business needs and support long-term success. The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in Workday HCM processes, reporting, compliance, and configuration — ensuring solutions are accurate, efficient, and aligned with client objectives. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting issues, managing support tickets, developing custom reports and dashboards, providing guidance and training to stakeholders, supporting new feature releases, and mentoring junior consultants to build team capability.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide global functional support for Workday HCM; along with 3 or more of the following modules: Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance Management, Payroll, Time Tracking
- Troubleshoot problems, test, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues
- Log, route, and maintain support tickets
- Design and develop custom reports and dashboards as required for business users and senior leaders
- Provide guidance and training on system functionality to internal stakeholders and the People team
- Support new Workday feature releases
- Support, mentor, and train junior consultants
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Workday Consulting experience
- Functional knowledge of at least 3 WD HCM modules

Work Hours
Full-time (40 hours/week). EMD supports flexible schedules across North America time zones based on team and client needs.
