Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with a global supplier of specialty chemicals & nutritional ingredients, servicing a variety of industries and markets. We are seeking a Technical Account Manager for their Food division.

The Role

This is a commercially focused position responsible for building new & existing relationships, converting opportunities into long-term partnerships within the food, nutrition, and beverage industry.

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospects within the industry and key segments.
  • Engage with customers through a consultative, value-driven approach.
  • Represent the business at industry trade shows, technical seminars, and global conferences.
  • Navigate sales cycles with persistence, professionals, and a solution-driven mindset.
  • Partner closely with R&D, Procurement, and Technical Directors to deliver tailored ingredient solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and supply partners to ensure customers receive best-in-class support.
  • Leverage CRM platforms and industry tools to work strategically and efficiently.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients, food manufacturing, or nutritional products.
  • Demonstrated ability to win new business and maintain customer relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, and confident working across technical and commercial functions.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced market.
