Role Description

This is a full-time position for a lawyer with a minimum of one year experience practicing family law in Ontario. The position is primarily remote although the successful candidate must be available to attend in-office, as needed. A driver’s license and access to a vehicle to attend court outside Toronto is a necessity.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience practicing family law in Ontario
  • Strong foundation in family law, legal research, and case management
  • Experience drafting legal documents and negotiating settlements
  • Effective courtroom advocacy and representation skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills including a keen attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
