HVAC Service Manager (HVAC & Plumbing) – Harbinger Network Inc.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead daily operations, supervise technicians and oversee HVAC service, small retrofit projects, and some related plumbing. The ideal candidate is a hands-on and technically sound leader with strong technical skills, customer focus, and proven ability to enhance productivity, quality, profitability, and division expansion.

Skills & Experience:

– 8+ years in HVAC service with plumbing knowledge.

– 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

– Trades background preferred with experience on HVAC maintenance and retrofit projects.

– Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.

– Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead, coordinate, and schedule service technicians and projects from start to finish.

-Develop methods to meet schedules and coordinate with office and warehouse to ensure job readiness.

-Manage material requisitions and supplies.

-Coach, train, and mentor technicians to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.

-Provide estimates and sales support for service, small new installations and smaller retrofit projects.

-Oversee dispatch to optimize scheduling, maximize revenue, and boost technician utilization.

-Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

-Troubleshoot issues, resolve work problems, and recommend productivity improvements.

-Handle escalated customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.

-Track and manage KPIs including productivity, revenue, callbacks, and first-time fixes.

-Oversee billing, timesheets, documentation, compliance, and reporting.

-Assist in hiring, onboarding, and retention of service staff.

-Support budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and initiatives to grow the service division.
