Description
- Reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Review intercompany transactions for proper counterparty identification and ensure accurate elimination in consolidation processes.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve incorrectly recorded intercompany transactions.
- Provide clear guidance and recommended adjustments to internal teams or external accounting service providers.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely processing of intercompany corrections.
- Support month-end and period-end close processes related to intercompany accounting and consolidation.
- Identify opportunities to improve intercompany reconciliation processes and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and support for intercompany balances and adjustments.
About You
- Solid understanding of consolidation accounting, including intercompany eliminations and equity-based transactions.
- Strong attention to detail with effective organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Several years of experience in intercompany accounting, reconciliations, or consolidation reporting.
- Professional accounting designation is required.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
