About the Opportunity 
Financial Systems Leadership

  • Develop and articulate a long-term strategy for financial systems and data that aligns with business growth and evolving technology.
  • Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Yardi and OneStream.
  • Lead the upcoming Yardi system health check in partnership with external consultants and drive the implementation of recommendations through a multi-year roadmap.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance to implement upgrades, integrations, and new functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, security, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Data Governance & Stewardship

  • Champion data as an organizational asset, ensuring standards that support analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the business.
  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks for financial and operational data within Yardi andOneStream.
  • Drive initiatives to clean and standardize core data elements (i.e. chart of accounts, property master data, entity structures).
  • Partner with business leaders to align on consistent data definitions and reporting standards.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting and reporting processes through automation, workflows and system enhancements.
  • Introduce best practices to improve financial operations, reduce manual effort and enhance reporting accuracy.

  • Develop and deliver training programs and ongoing support to ensure finance teams understand system capabilities and evolving processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and other departments to ensure financial systems and data meet organizational needs.
  • Serve as the bridge between Finance, IT, and Data teams, translating business needs into system and data solutions.
  • Support strategic projects, including acquisitions and integrations, by ensuring data and systems are aligned.
  • Manage external consultants and vendors effectively, ensuring value and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of financial system and data professionals within the Corporate Finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentorship, and professional growth.
  • Ensure that the team is equipped to meet business needs, optimizing workflows and enhancing the capabilities of the systems and processes under their responsibility.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration and communication to build trust and efficiency across the organization.

About You 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems roles, with 5+ years in a leadership position overseeing financial systems and/or data governance.

Salary Range 
$160,000 – $175,000/year
