Part-Time HR Generalist (3 days a week)

Downtown Toronto | Hybrid (2 Days In-Office)

75,000- 80,000 (pro-rated)

Our client, a well-established professional services firm located in downtown Toronto, is seeking an experienced Part-Time HR Generalist to join their collaborative and high-performing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys owning core HR programs, partnering closely with leaders, and contributing in a hands-on, consultative capacity.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of HR, this role will play a key part in supporting the firm’s people strategy while managing day-to-day HR operations. You will have ownership of onboarding and be deeply involved in recruitment, while also contributing to broader HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Owning and continuously improving the end-to-end onboarding experience
  • Partnering with leaders on full-cycle recruitment for professional-level roles
  • Supporting and contributing to training and development initiatives
  • Assisting with compensation-related projects, including benchmarking and program enhancements
  • Providing trusted HR guidance on policies, best practices, and employee matters
  • Supporting general HR administration and compliance within a professional services environment

About You

  • 7+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, ideally within professional services or a similar environment
  • A mature, professional presence with strong judgment and discretion
  • Confident partnering with senior stakeholders and employees at all levels
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach to HR
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian employment standards and HR best practices
