They are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead commercial and institutional construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day site operations, coordinating workforce, equipment, materials, and trade contractors to meet schedule and profit targets.
  • Monitor and manage cost control during construction, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement and maintain project-specific Quality Control programs and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and company standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, owners, consultants, inspectors, and trades to resolve issues and keep the project moving.
  • Proactively identify, address, and resolve site problems before they impact safety, schedule, or budget.
  • Champion a strong safety culture on site and ensure all work is executed in alignment with company health and safety policies.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Site Superintendent delivering commercial and institutional construction projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued at 5 million dollars or more.
  • Post-secondary education in construction, building technology, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • NCSO designation and/or Journeyman Carpenter ticket are strong assets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate site teams.
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
