Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Control Officer with over 5 years of experience to join a dynamic program team. You will be the nerve center for a key workstream, ensuring rigorous financial control, clear reporting, and seamless execution through the entire project lifecycle. This role is pivotal in bridging business strategy with technology delivery, requiring a unique blend of financial acumen, stakeholder management, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in project control, project management, or a PMO role within a technology/digital delivery environment.
- Financial Management: Demonstrated expertise in project financial management—budgeting, forecasting, monthly reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Methodology: Strong practical understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management lifecycle.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand product and technical discussions sufficiently to translate between business and technology teams. Hands-on involvement in SDLC phases is expected.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Clarity, Smartsheet) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
