The Opportunity

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks. This position offers the chance to work on strategic applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic, agile environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for strategic applications.
  • Design and implement full-stack automation scripts for end-to-end testing.
  • Create high-quality, reusable automated test cases and identify reusable modules.
  • Define branching strategies and perform code reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand application intricacies.
  • Debug issues and manage defect prioritization with Support and Product teams.
  • Fill gaps in test coverage and add new scenarios to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Work with Business Analysts and Developers to deliver tasks on time and with quality.
  • Bring innovative ideas for test and code design.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and influence best practices.
  • Perform risk assessments and gap analysis to improve processes.
  • Document test cases and maintain clear technical writing standards.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or DEC in IT or equivalent experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, ideally in Insurance or Finance.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and maintain UI and API (REST) test automation using BDD.
  • Strong experience in creating reusable test components and scenarios.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD integration.
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Core Skills Required

  • Frontend Testing: Cypress
  • Backend Testing: Cucumber, Java, Postman
  • Automation Frameworks: BDD, Page Object Model
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines
  • Experience with multi-language, multi-browser web applications.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and governance models.
