Hays is currently partnered with a notable multidisciplinary firm who are looking to hire a highly skilled Architectural Project Manager to manage the full project life-cycle of mission-critical and data centre projects. The firm is award-winning and well-established in the industry and has a varied portfolio of projects and a strong pipeline of upcoming work.

Your new role

As the Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from concept through completion. Reporting to a Partner, you will manage the design processes, collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and maintain communication with the client, ensuring that project goals, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will supervise project documentation, conduct site reviews, resolve design or construction issues, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders. You will also ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards while guiding the project team toward successful delivery. A strong understanding of OBC and various municipal by-law standards is required.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have an educational background in Architecture, with at least 3–5 years of direct project management experience overseeing complex projects within mission-critical/data centre, healthcare or industrial sectors. A demonstrated ability to lead project teams through all stages, including consultant coordination, client relations and construction administration is mandatory. Strong communication and project/consultant management experience is important. Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, Sharepoint is required. Familiarity with Procore, Part3, or other CA software is strongly preferred. An OAA License is not required but a strong asset. A driver’s license and ability to travel as needed is preferred.
