Job Description:

  • The Content Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing digital experiences by shaping and delivering effective content strategies.
  • The position supports the organization’s mission to lead in exceptional digital experiences through strategic content, collaboration, and focus on client needs and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategies for client-focused digital content
  • Facilitate collaborative design and ideation sessions
  • Provide rationale and guidance for content strategies to product teams
  • Set practical direction for communication standards, tools, and processes
  • Advocate for clients’ needs regarding the role and impact of content in product design
  • Produce clear, concise textual content for digital products (labels, explanatory text, metadata, etc.)
  • Collaborate with peers to develop non-textual content and apply inclusive design principles
  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory teams to ensure compliance
  • Manage content documentation and lifecycle
  • Support and facilitate team-led research and testing on content effectiveness
  • Conduct competitive and content audits in support of design or business goals.

Must Have:

  • Post-secondary education (university degree or college diploma preferred)
  • Minimum 4 years of writing experience in a creative agency or in-house creative team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Proficiency in English
  • Portfolio showcasing professional copywriting work.
  • Proficiency in French.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and remediation methods.
  • Awareness of current design and technology trends.
