Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for SAP Commodity Management Consultant.
This is a Remote role and client is actively hiring for this position.
Role Overview: SAP Commodity Management Consultant
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: 3 Months +
Rate: $90/hr – $110/hr (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to end-to-end SAP Commodity Management implementations, with a primary focus on Deal Capture, Pricing Engine, and Risk Management functionalities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and system configurations.
- Design and implement commodity deal capture processes, including contract setup, trade execution, and end-to-end deal lifecycle management.
- Configure and enhance the Commodity Pricing Engine to support complex pricing structures, formula-based pricing, and integration with market data sources.
- Develop, implement, and support commodity risk management capabilities, including exposure analysis, hedge accounting, and risk reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Procurement, and IT to ensure process alignment and seamless system integration.
- Deliver user training, create functional documentation, and provide post–go-live support to ensure successful adoption of the solution.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commodity Management, including Deal Capture, Pricing Engine, and Risk Management components.
- Strong understanding of commodity trading operations, pricing models, and risk management principles.
- Proven experience working within SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ERP environments.
