Job Title: Communications Manager
Job Location: Canada (100% Remote)
Role Summary:
The Communications Manager will lead internal communications related to key internal tools including Jira, Aha, and TeamPlan. This role is responsible for creating and delivering clear, engaging, and effective communications to support tool adoption, user training, and ongoing engagement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies for internal tools (Jira, Aha, TeamPlan) to drive awareness, adoption, and effective usage.
- Produce comprehensive training materials including videos, step-by-step guides, and FAQs to support user education and onboarding.
- Create and distribute regular tooling newsletters and announcements to keep stakeholders informed about updates, best practices, and new features.
- Collaborate with tool owners, product teams, and stakeholders to gather content and ensure messaging aligns with business goals.
- Manage communication channels and platforms to maximize reach and engagement of internal tooling communications.
- Monitor feedback and usage metrics to continuously improve communication effectiveness and training content.
- Support change management initiatives related to tooling enhancements and deployments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely communication delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a technology or software environment.
- Strong knowledge of internal collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Aha, and TeamPlan.
- Skilled in creating multimedia training content including videos and written materials.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple communication projects and deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
