Agilus is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager in the Construction Industry in Mississauga, Ontario.

Join a leading real estate developer as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing rental apartment projects from pre-construction through completion. This role combines strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on execution to deliver exceptional living spaces. The role will be based at our client’s Mississauga office during the precon phase, before moving on site to Etobicoke during construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, establish, and organize project schedules and budgets
  • Prepare and manage tenders and negotiate subcontractor contracts
  • Coordinate resources and stakeholders, including professionals and subcontractors
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards
  • Monitor and control project budgets during execution
  • Provide regular progress and cost reports to senior leadership
  • Identify and manage risks throughout development and construction phases
  • Oversee full implementation of assigned projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in engineering or architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years managing real estate construction projects (residential, commercial, etc.)
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and turnkey development
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in large, complex projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • LEED certification considered an asset
