Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity, security site assessments, and IT security initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate will lead and coordinate security-focused projects, working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, proper governance, and effective risk management.
  • This role requires hands-on experience managing security assessments, cybersecurity infrastructure projects, and regulated environment initiatives, with a strong focus on documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage security site assessments and cybersecurity-related initiatives from planning through completion
  • Coordinate cybersecurity deliverables across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners

Oversee assessment activities, including:

  • Scope definition
  • Scheduling and execution
  • Documentation and reporting
  • Ensure effective governance, risk tracking, and issue management for all security initiatives
  • Maintain project schedules, dependencies, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
  • Track risks, issues, and mitigation plans; escalate as needed
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
  • Ensure alignment with organizational security standards, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Support initiatives in regulated or public sector environments, as applicable

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • project management experience (PM level)
  • Senior Project Manager level experience

Proven experience managing:

  • Cybersecurity or IT security projects
  • Security or infrastructure assessments
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) concepts
  • Experience coordinating between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills
