Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Production Technician located in Mississauga, ON. The Mechanical Production Technician will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery, conducting quality control checks, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Additional responsibilities include assisting in optimizing production processes and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Quality Control and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge to ensure adherence to production standards
• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for resolving technical issues and maintaining equipment functionality
• Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and report findings
• Technical aptitude and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or technical manuals
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in mechanical or production engineering is an asset
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
• Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
