Role: Senior Technical Business Analyst

Location: Must be based in Canada (available EST hours)

Work Arrangement: Remote or hybrid options available

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires strong communication skills, an appreciation for design, and a proven ability to define clear, detailed requirements for cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable owning tasks, reaching out to stakeholders independently, and supporting both the client and internal teams through to delivery.

  • Experienced in analyzing and challenging designs and solutions with the product in mind.
  • Familiar with working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

What You Will Do

  • Lead requirements gathering for a large digital experience team.
  • Conduct audits and interviews with clients and developers to improve ways of working.
  • Document clear and detailed requirements that support UX, UI, and development teams.
  • Translate business objectives into user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the client and agency team throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the technical strategy and ensure project goals are aligned with business needs.
  • Create models, diagrams, and specifications for technical teams as needed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for developers and qa.

Required Experience

  • 6-10 years in digital delivery or solutioning, with at least 4 years as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
  • Proven experience working with corporate IT environments, including release management processes.
  • Experience writing detailed requirements in Jira and working closely with UX/UI and dev teams.
  • Proficiency in Figma, and Jira.
  • Very Strong communication and interpersonal skills
