A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistics

Key Responsibilities

SRM Analysis, Performance & Governance

  • Monitor and analyze supplier performance using KPIs, dashboards, and SRM tools.
  • Participate in Procure-to-Pay (P2P / I-2-P) governance, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, controls, documentation, and data integrity.
  • Contribute to supplier performance reviews (QBRs), including data consolidation, gap analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Ensure contract compliance, service level adherence, and performance commitments.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage SRM activities including contract follow-ups, supplier performance, improvement plans, and third-party risk management.
  • Identify inefficiencies in P2P/SRM processes and recommend improvements.
  • Use AI and analytical tools to improve data quality, spend categorization, forecasting, and risk detection.
  • Contribute to workflow automation, friction reduction, and cycle-time optimization.
  • Support the harmonization of standards, policies, and best practices across the department and organization.

Operational Excellence & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Define and deploy standards, policies, processes, and methodological frameworks to ensure consistent procurement operations across the organization.
  • Ensure strategic alignment between Source-to-Contract (S2C) and I-2-P processes, enabling seamless integration across Sourcing, Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce inefficiencies, and optimize organizational costs.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Monitor supplier risks (financial, operational, quality, compliance, ESG).
  • Support the implementation of mitigation plans and proactive escalation of critical issues.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and effective third-party risk management approach.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Support

  • Act as a point of contact for supplier performance and compliance inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams to resolve issues, optimize processes, and enhance user experience.
  • Support adoption and effective use of P2P/SRM solutions, including integrated suppliers, punch-outs, and automated processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field (an asset).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, analytics, SRM, or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of procurement technology environments (P2P, ERP, SRM).
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with dashboards and performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement policies, governance, and supplier risk management practices.
  • Strong interest in innovation, continuous improvement, and the use of AI as a performance lever.
