Maintenance & Facilities Manager – Pharmaceutical Experience REQUIRED

Shift: Day Shift (with On‑Call Responsibilities)

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000

Kelly Services is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Brampton to hire an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Manager. This role requires direct pharmaceutical or cGMP manufacturing experience and a strong background in maintenance leadership. We are looking for a hands‑on manager who can build a high‑performing team, drive accountability, and maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational reliability.

The Manager, Maintenance & Facility will oversee all maintenance and facility operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance of plant equipment, utilities, and systems. This leader will work closely with production to maximize uptime, support projects, and uphold strict regulatory and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance and facilities teams.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all maintenance activities across the facility.

• Build and execute a strong preventive and predictive maintenance program.

• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.

• Support new equipment onboarding, upgrades, and capital projects.

• Provide clear project updates, including timelines and deliverables.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and corrective action.

• Monitor equipment performance to reduce downtime and identify improvements.

• Lead and enforce safety programs, training, and compliance.

• Partner with production to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure all work complies with SOPs, cGMP, regulatory standards, and health & safety legislation.

• Perform additional duties as required.

What You Bring

Mandatory: 5–10 years of maintenance leadership experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP‑regulated environment.

• Strong background in maintenance operations, facilities management, and equipment reliability.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong problem‑solving ability with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Comfortable with day‑shift leadership and on‑call responsibilities.
