Our client — a well-established and rapidly growing organization in the transportation and logistics sector — is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a critical customer-facing function. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on customer experience, team performance, and operational efficiency while helping scale the business.
The ideal candidate will bring prior leadership experience within a 3PL, logistics, or transportation environment, with a strong understanding of service operations, client management, and high-volume workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of customer service professionals
- Oversee end-to-end customer service operations in a high-volume environment
- Manage escalated customer issues and ensure timely, effective resolution
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver seamless customer experiences
- Analyze service data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Implement and refine service processes, standards, and best practices
- Deliver training and support team development initiatives
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive experience in customer service or customer-facing operations
- 4+ years of people management experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and Excel capabilities
- Comfort working with CRM systems and modern digital tools
- Ability to operate calmly and effectively in high-pressure situations
