Senior Site Supervisor
Job summary:
The Senior Site Supervisor’s job is to oversee each project from conception to the finished structure,
interfacing with both construction professionals and the shareholder’s representative. You must be
willing to travel to neighbouring cities to work on job sites, so reliable transportation is a must. When you
work for us, you will be involved in actively meeting the challenges that come with being a key player in
the success of cultivating business relationships.
Location: New Brunswick – Greater Moncton Area
Job Type: Full-time
● Monday to Friday
● Hours may vary as per construction peek times
● May have to work on weekend
Wage Range: $80 000 to $95 000
Reports to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
● Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring
compliance with safety and building regulations.
● Coordinate the construction team to meet contractual conditions of performance.
● Prepare external and internal reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and
deliverables.
● Negotiate agreement terms with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors , manage construction
contract drafts, and obtain permits to analyze and mitigate risks.
● Communicate with the responsible parties to ensure quality construction exceeds company
standards and proper industry techniques and processes are utilized, while ensuring the client’s
needs and wants are efficiently met.
● Review projects on a daily basis to ensure quality construction standards exist and estimates
remain within budget.
● Supervise construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and exceed the
customer’s requirements.
● Resolve complex construction issues throughout the full cycle of a development project.
● Work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment to plan and coordinate all aspects of the
building process from hiring contractors to working with engineers, architects, and vendors.
● Hire and manage site supervisors to run specific project sites smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years of experience in the real estate construction field is required
● Must be proficient in French and English
● Bachelor’s degree in building science, construction management, civil engineering or relevant
field is an asset
● Excellent resource, planning, and time management skills
● Superior management capabilities
● Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures
● Extensive experience managing budgets for small to mid size construction projects
● Leadership, project, and time management skills
● Proficiency in project management tools and basic computer software (e.g., MS Office, Google
Work, Yardi (asset),etc).
● Valid driver’s license
