Corporate Law Clerk

Location : Toronto

Our client

Is a private equity firm in Downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support to the corporate legal team on a broad range of matters, including corporate governance and transactional work.
  • Manage corporate documentation such as entity formations, amendments, filings, and maintenance of minute books.
  • Review marketing materials and assist with other transactional documentation.
  • Support governance and compliance matters across multiple entities.
  • Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency across files, filings, and records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a Law Clerk, ideally with exposure to corporate, M&A, or funds work.
  • Law Clerk designation or equivalent qualification.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive, self-motivated team player.
  • Strong communication skills and experience thriving in fast-paced environments.
