Senior Business Analyst – DocuSign CLM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced DocuSign CLM Analyst with 6+ years of experience to support the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. The role partners with Legal, Procurement, Sales, Compliance, and IT teams to streamline contract processes, improve governance, and ensure scalable CLM solutions using DocuSign CLM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering and analysis for DocuSign CLM implementations and enhancements
  • Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Sales Ops, and Compliance stakeholders to understand contract workflows
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and configuration requirements
  • Design and optimize end-to-end CLM processes including:
  • Contract authoring and clause management
  • Approval workflows and conditional routing
  • Contract negotiation and redlining
  • Version control and audit trails
  • Obligation and renewal management
  • Configure and support DocuSign CLM features:
  • Templates, clauses, and clause libraries
  • Workflow rules and conditions
  • Metadata, tagging, and document fields
  • Role-based access and permissions
  • Support integrations with DocuSign eSignature, Salesforce, ERP, and other enterprise systems
  • Drive UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with business users
  • Analyze CLM KPIs and reporting (cycle time, bottlenecks, compliance metrics)
  • Ensure contract data governance, compliance, and audit readiness
  • Create SOPs, training materials, and user adoption plans
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for DocuSign CLM across the organization

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Law, or related field
  • 6+ years of Business Analyst or CLM Analyst experience
  • Hands-on experience with DocuSign CLM (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle processes and legal operations
  • Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • DocuSign CLM certification
  • Experience with Salesforce CLM integrations
  • Familiarity with contract standards (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, Amendments)
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, audit controls)
  • Experience with workflow automation and business rules

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other CLM tools (Icertis, Conga, Ironclad)
  • SQL or reporting experience
  • Legal operations or procurement background
  • Experience working in global enterprise environments
