Description
Art Director (Contract · In-Office · Toronto)
We’re looking for an Art Director who can lead creatively and execute at a high level.
This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives in the work—concepting, designing, refining, and delivering across brand, digital, print, and motion. You’ll own creative output end-to-end while collaborating closely with strategy, production, and clients.
This is not a remote or purely conceptual position. You’ll be embedded with the team in our Toronto office and actively involved in day-to-day creative execution.

- Design and deliver work across branding, campaigns, websites, social, print, and video
- Translate strategic direction into strong, cohesive visual systems
- Art direct and contribute to video, animation, and motion projects
- Present work to clients clearly and confidently
- Maintain brand integrity and elevate creative quality across all deliverables
- Manage timelines, priorities, and feedback in a fast-paced agency environment
- Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and producers while setting clear creative direction
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6+ years experience in an agency or in-house creative environment
- A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on design excellence and ownership
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, brand systems, UX/UI, and visual storytelling
- Experience contributing to video, motion, and animation projects
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Clear communicator with strong presentation skills
- Self-directed, accountable, and proactive
Role Details
