Art Director (Contract · In-Office · Toronto)

We’re looking for an Art Director who can lead creatively and execute at a high level.

This is a hands-on role for a designer who thrives in the work—concepting, designing, refining, and delivering across brand, digital, print, and motion. You’ll own creative output end-to-end while collaborating closely with strategy, production, and clients.

This is not a remote or purely conceptual position. You’ll be embedded with the team in our Toronto office and actively involved in day-to-day creative execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead creative direction while remaining deeply hands-on in design execution
  • Design and deliver work across branding, campaigns, websites, social, print, and video
  • Translate strategic direction into strong, cohesive visual systems
  • Art direct and contribute to video, animation, and motion projects
  • Present work to clients clearly and confidently
  • Maintain brand integrity and elevate creative quality across all deliverables
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and feedback in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Collaborate closely with designers, animators, and producers while setting clear creative direction

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–6+ years experience in an agency or in-house creative environment
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating hands-on design excellence and ownership
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, brand systems, UX/UI, and visual storytelling
  • Experience contributing to video, motion, and animation projects
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Clear communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Self-directed, accountable, and proactive
