Program Manager

Avion is a provider of contract manufacturing services primarily to the aerospace and defense industries. We manufacture single part numbers to final tested multi-part number assemblies. We are a leading supplier of high quality gears, gearboxes components and sub-assemblies for a wide spectrum of customers. 

Overview:

Avion Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Program/Project Manager to oversee major aerospace and defense contracts. The role ensures customer satisfaction while providing leadership and organizational coordination across planning, governance, and project management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project management and manufacturing development life cycles to achieve strategic goals.
• Oversee multiple programs and clients simultaneously.
• Establish and implement policies and systems to monitor, report, and control project goals, milestones, and budgets.
• Provide verbal and written updates on project status, risks, and issues, with recommendations for resolution.
• Support cross-functional departments including engineering, planning, purchasing, production, QA, inventory, shipping, and logistics to ensure successful program execution.
• Deliver full reporting and visibility to clients regarding program status and potential delays or issues.
• Prepare senior management reports on multiple programs being managed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing multiple projects, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is an asset.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Must pass security assessments, including a police records check (Avion is an AS9100 and Controlled Goods Registered facility).
