Quality Control Technician

Milton- ONSITE

6 Month Contract

25-30 hourly

Primary Responsibilities/Tasks and Duties:

  • Participates and maintains a quality culture
  • Performs quality defect trend analysis & root cause analysis
  • Participate & Lead Quality improvement projects
  • Manage customer quality complaints using 3M Quality systems
  • Handles non-routine and difficult inquiries
  • Adapts differing techniques to develop solutions for complex issues
  • Interprets policies and regulations, investigates problems to identify solutions
  • Asist during internal, external and customer audits.

Other responsibilities:

  • Support DC operational activities as required to maintain service levels and workflow continuity.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in quality, operations or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality and operations will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Possesses exceptional customer service competencies
  • Possess understanding of Quality Management Systems
  • Logistics or Distribution experience a plus
  • Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems
  • Ability to work in a high volume rapidly changing environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong team player
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion
  • Prefers to stay busy with a full workload and enjoys meeting challenges
  • French and English bi-lingual is an asset
