Quality Control Technician
Milton- ONSITE
6 Month Contract
25-30 hourly
Primary Responsibilities/Tasks and Duties:
- Participates and maintains a quality culture
- Performs quality defect trend analysis & root cause analysis
- Participate & Lead Quality improvement projects
- Manage customer quality complaints using 3M Quality systems
- Handles non-routine and difficult inquiries
- Adapts differing techniques to develop solutions for complex issues
- Interprets policies and regulations, investigates problems to identify solutions
- Asist during internal, external and customer audits.
Other responsibilities:
- Support DC operational activities as required to maintain service levels and workflow continuity.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in quality, operations or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality and operations will be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Availability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Possesses exceptional customer service competencies
- Possess understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Logistics or Distribution experience a plus
- Ability to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problems
- Ability to work in a high volume rapidly changing environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong team player
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretion
- Prefers to stay busy with a full workload and enjoys meeting challenges
- French and English bi-lingual is an asset
