We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team!

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, the Legal Counsel will have a primary focus on supporting our organization as a commercial legal counsel. In this role, you will deliver proactive, practical, and business-focused legal advice across the company while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external customers, partners, and suppliers.

As a Legal Counsel, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers and partners across a wide range of commercial engagements. This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong business judgment, technical aptitude, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote / work from home opportunity.

Duties of the role include:

• Negotiate a wide variety of commercial arrangements or transactions on your own, or with the support of senior legal counsel.
• Work with legal leadership on legal projects such as M&A, intellectual property, and data protection.
• Be part of a high performing, collaborative, proactive and practical legal team that will embrace your existing skills, while deepening your expertise as in-house counsel.

Qualifications:

• Admission to practice and good standing in any US state or Canadian Province.
• 2+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, preferably within the technology or SaaS sector.
• Preferably experience in software licensing, SaaS agreements, NDAs, services agreements, SOWs, and order forms.
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Privacy, and Information Security teams.
• Strong ability to translate complex legal requirements into clear, practical guidance for non-legal audiences.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset.
