Position Title: Data Engineer

Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid – Twice in a week)

Position Type: Full Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing data pipelines and workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica, Azure Data Factory, CAWLA/Tidal Scheduler, and SQL Server, ensuring efficient data integration and transformation across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Informatica and Azure Data Factory.
  • Implement and manage job scheduling and automation using CAWLA/Tidal Scheduler.
  • Optimize and maintain SQL Server databases for high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data workflows and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Informatica and Azure Data Factory for ETL and data integration.
  • Strong knowledge of CAWLA/Tidal Scheduler for job scheduling and automation.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server including query optimization and database management.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions and modern data architectures.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and large-scale data processing.
