Recruiting for a Workday Consultant.

Implements, configures, and optimizes Workday’s cloud-based HCM or Financial applications to meet business needs, acting as a liaison between technology and business processes. They lead workshops, gather requirements, configure system workflows, and provide functional or technical support throughout the full project lifecycle, including testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Implementation & Configuration: Configure Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Financials, Supply Chain, Payroll) based on client requirements and best practices.
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops to analyze business needs and translate them into functional or technical specifications.
  • Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage system deployment.
  • Integration Support: Design, configure, and troubleshoot integrations between Workday and external systems.
  • Client Advisory: Advise clients on industry best practices and Workday functionality, providing recommendations to improve processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Workday Expertise: Functional or technical knowledge of specific Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Financials, Security, Reporting).
  • Consulting Experience: Experience in full-cycle implementations, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to facilitate workshops, present solutions to stakeholders, and train end-users.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex business problems and design technical solutions.
  • Certification: Active Workday Certification is highly desirable
