The Opportunity

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who can accelerate our delivery pipeline, strengthen our cloud automation practices, and ensure the reliability of our Customer Engagement Suite platform on Google Cloud. You’ll work closely with Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, and Architects to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability tooling, and operational frameworks that support CCAI, Dialogflow, and related conversational AI services.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on automation, loves building scalable deployment systems, and enjoys enabling engineering teams to move faster with confidence.

What You’ll Do

CI/CD & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for microservices, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
  • Implement GitOps practices for environment consistency and deployment governance.

Infrastructure & Cloud Operations

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform for GCP environments.
  • Manage and optimize GCP services including Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and VPC networking.
  • Support the operational lifecycle of CCAI and Customer Engagement Suite workloads.

Reliability & Observability

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and related tools.
  • Build dashboards, SLOs, and automated health checks to ensure system reliability.
  • Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement secure deployment practices, secrets management, and IAM best practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
  • Automate vulnerability scanning, dependency checks, and policy enforcement.

What You Bring

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform, including:
  • Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager
  • Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions
  • Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, VPC networking
  • Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes operations.
  • Familiarity with SRE principles, observability tooling, and operational best practices.
  • Scripting or coding experience in Python, Bash, or Java.

Soft Skills

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to partner with engineering and architecture teams.
  • A mindset focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Clear communication and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting CCAI, Dialogflow, or other conversational AI platforms.
  • Background in platform engineering or internal developer platform (IDP) work.
  • Knowledge of service mesh, workload identity, or advanced GKE operations.
  • Experience with incident management frameworks (SRE‑style).
