New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Innovation Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in converting innovative concepts into production-ready products. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and an experimentation mindset to lead initiatives from ideation to delivery.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams comprising engineers, designers, data scientists, business stakeholders, and other technical resources to deliver groundbreaking software applications and solutions. This role is instrumental in turning innovative ideas into tangible results that align with organizational goals and create significant value for the stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of innovation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Agile Governance: Provide guidance and ensure adherence to all Agile principles, ceremonies, and best practices, including maintaining high-quality Agile artifacts.
  • Agile Facilitation: Lead sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration and focus.
  • Technical Dependency Management: Manage technical prerequisites and dependencies across teams and projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Roadblock Resolution: Identify and work to remove roadblocks that impede the delivery of product features or project milestones.
  • Performance Feedback: Provide updates with relevant data to the team and leadership, offering actionable feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with delivery teams, leadership, and cross-functional participants from multiple areas of the organization to drive alignment and success.
  • Capacity Planning: Understand team capacity and velocity to influence sprint commitments and delivery planning effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the team by encouraging experimentation, reflecting on processes, and implementing iterative changes.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in processes, technology, and team dynamics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experimentation Support: Support teams in designing, running, and evaluating experiments to test hypotheses and inform decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Experimentation: Facilitate experimentation processes, ensuring hypotheses, metrics, and evaluation criteria are well-defined and aligned with innovation goals.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain project delivery metrics and dashboards to track progress, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • 6–9 years of equivalent work experience in IT, including demonstrated expertise in software development, with a focus on delivering Agile projects in large-scale organizations.
  • Strong familiarity with modern technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence and its applications.
  • Proven experience working in innovation teams or experimental projects, with a successful track record of delivering novel and impactful solutions.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams, managing complex dependencies and prerequisites.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within highly complex and integrated technical ecosystems
