The Lounge Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing special events, promotional activities, and guest experiences within the airport lounge. This role ensures all events align with brand standards, enhances the passenger experience, and support the lounge’s commercial and operational goals. The coordinator works closely with lounge management, vendors, airport authorities, partners, and internal teams to deliver seamless, high-quality events in a fast-paced, premium environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning & Execution

  • Develop and coordinate event concepts for seasonal promotions, partner activations, VIP visits, product launches, cultural celebrations, and customer-engagement activities.
  • Oversee event logistics including scheduling, setup, décor, catering needs, AV requirements, and guest flow.
  • Ensure all events comply with airport security protocols and lounge operating standards.
  • Manage event budgeting, vendor contracts, and post-event reporting.

Partnership & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with airlines, brand partners, airport authorities, and service providers for co-branded events or promotions.
  • Coordinate with lounge operations, F&B teams, housekeeping, and security to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers (entertainers, AV techs, caterers, etc.).

Guest Experience Enhancement

  • Create memorable experiences that elevate passenger satisfaction and align with luxury service expectations.
  • Respond to guest feedback and adjust event elements in real time.
  • Ensure all events meet lounge brand guidelines for hospitality, service, and ambience.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Prepare event proposals, timelines, checklists, and post-event evaluations.
  • Track KPIs such as guest engagement, brand impact, and ROI.
  • Complete administrative duties such as PRs/POs and other related administrative duties
  • Maintain an events calendar and ensure accurate internal communication.
  • Other related responsibilities and special or ad hoc projects, as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in events, hospitality, F&B, or premium guest services; airport experience is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment with irregular hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic event-management software.
  • Bilingual French/English written & spoken is a strong asset (required for Quebec employees)

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be flexible to work weekdays/weekends and statutory holidays.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts early morning/day/evening shifts
