Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Wireline Network Evolution initiatives. This role requires strong end-to-end project management capabilities, stakeholder coordination, and experience within telecommunications environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management across Wireline Network Evolution initiatives
Develop and manage:
- Project plans
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Resource allocation and vendor coordination
- Oversee project tracking, reporting, and governance
Manage project financials, including:
- Budget planning and control
- Forecasting
- Financial reporting
Maintain and update:
- Risk and action logs (weekly)
- Issue logs (daily)
Provide weekly status reports on:
- Project progress
- Financial forecasts
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops
- Ensure timely delivery of all project milestones and deliverables
- Drive project closure activities, including documentation and sign-off
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including planning, execution, and delivery
Hands-on experience with:
- Project planning & WBS
- Resource and vendor management
- Budgeting and reporting
Experience in Wireline telecommunications projects, including:
- Product/technology introduction
- Deployment or service initiatives
Experience collaborating with product teams (testing, architecture, supply chain, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level reporting
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Previous experience with Rogers Communications
- Experience with CMTS (Cable Modem Termination System) projects
- Familiarity with Comcast-certified devices
- Experience with Full Duplex (FDX) technology
- PMP certification
- Experience with tools such as: Jira, Oracle
- Exposure to multiple Wireline project types
- Experience working with Canadian telecom carriers
